Manhattan's skyline changes constantly. Merchant's House Museum, however, stood in Noho since 1832. No Christmas in New York can be more classic than Christmas at Merchant's House Museum.

The building of Merchant's House Museum was built in 1832. Seabury Tredwell, a retired hardware merchant, bought it in 1835. The house became the Tredwells' family home for the next hundred years. Since then, Merchant's House Museum preserved the building's exterior, as well as the furniture and decor, for over 85 years.

Each holiday season, garlands and stockings are hung at Merchant's House Museum. Traditional stockings are even stuffed with traditional stuffers like clementines.
